I don’t know about y’all, but I am a liiiiittle obsessed with Amazon Prime. I mean.. free two-day shipping, great pricing, and literally everything I want with just a click. It’s kind of a problem. You know that “please hide packages from husband” doormat? I feel like I need that thanks to good old Amazon Prime. I can’t be alone in this, right!? Either way, I put together a list of my current Amazon faves! I hope you like it 🙂

The Easiest DIY Mirror Upgrade
We bought a builder-grade house. And (surprise) it came with builder-grade mirrors. You know, the plain-jane mirrors connected by the little clips. I knew that I wanted to do SOMETHING to make them look better. I contemplated buying new mirrors altogether, which was turning out to be very expensive. So I searched for a more budget-friendly alternative! One of my Instagram buddies, @societyofsumner, had posted how she framed her builder-grade mirrors. Hers came out so good. And I knew I had to do it! I did a little internet search and there are A LOT of people who have done this in various ways. I’m going to share with y’all how I did it. And if you aren’t already wondering… the whole project cost me about $75 for both bathrooms! Continue reading

Guys. I don’t know if I’m alone in this, but sometimes I feel like I black-out when I’m at the grocery store. I just wander around throwing things in my cart that I think we’ll eat that week and then I’ve spent $200. And when I get home, I realize I still don’t have more than one full dinner, but I have a lot of useless snacks or little bits and pieces of things. I know that a lot of people plan their family meals for the week, so this week, I tried it for the first time. And yall. The entire week of dinners cost me $65 and there has been leftovers that we have eaten for lunch. And it’s healthy. And my eight-year-old likes it! How did I do it? Let me share it with you!

Cold Weather Must Haves
The temperatures have dropped as low as 15 degrees in North Idaho so that inspired me to share with y’all my cold weather must haves! Growing up in Southern California, I had no real cold weather clothes. My idea of cold was high 50s low 60s. So I have slowly collected an arsenal of cozy, toasty, warm stuff. Dick’s Sporting Goods is 20% off online today (including sale!) with free shipping so I have collected my favorite cold weather must haves from their website to share with you! This post is not sponsored by Dick’s. I just love a good sale + they have a freaking good selection.

Peel & Stick Wallpaper: What You Need To Know
Wallpaper is officially making a comeback, yall. And it is so much better than it was in the 90’s. Peel and freakin’ stick! Hell. Ya. But I get it, even the peel & stick is a little daunting. Hopefully this post puts you at ease. Because I have never applied wallpaper before. But it was 100% doable and makes a real statement! Seriously. It also makes everything else easier to design around, in my opinion. Once I had my grey brick wallpaper up, it kind of “set the tone” for the room & made everything else easier to pick.
Whenever I post a picture of my master on my Instagram (@everydaykacie), I get so many messages about my wallpaper. Does it peel in the corners? Was it easy to put on? Would I recommend it? So I decided to write this to answer all your wallpaper questions, & offer a couple tips, too.
